This is a poem a wrote last year....

I'm not sure why I'm putting it here

but....... I call it "A baby flower"

A baby flower cannot understand trust
A baby flower cannot protect it's vulnerability
But in order for it to grow
it must find faith
in the world
and lift its little head
and smile.

A baby flower doesn't need to understand trust.
A baby flower has an instinct to love and have faith.
Trust is something which most people need to earn.
but a baby flower bases trust on faith alone.

I wish I could be like a baby flower.
Sometimes it is not easy to have faith.
It is not always easy to understand
but I think you have to take that leap of faith
if you ever want to grow
and be able to lift your head
and smile.
